Washington, D.C. 2021

Dear families,

 

In coordination with our school district and WorldStrides, we have made the decision to postpone our Moline School trip Washington, D.C. trip to June 9^th  – June 12st, 2022. We feel this decision is best for our students and will give more time for things to return to normal.

 

If you are able to join us on our new travel dates, then no action is needed on your part. If you are unable to join us and need to cancel, you can reach out directly to WorldStrides’ Customer Support at CustomerService@worldstrides.com and reference Trip ID #190204 to begin the refund process. Refunds are taking about 12 weeks to process.

Thank you so much for your patience as we have worked through this challenging time. I really hope that your student will be able to make the new dates, and I am excited get back to exploring next spring!

Text Messages for 2021 Trip

If you would like to receive text messages regarding the 2019 Washington, DC trip, follow the instructions below.

1. Download the app "Remind."

2. To join, send a text to: 81010 with the message,  @moline1

3. Make sure to include your first and last name when you are prompted to do so. No nicknames, please.
4. Mr. Olson will delete all names from the DC trip upon return from the trip.

Special Note:
The Washington, DC trip is not a Moline School District #40 sponsored trip. Dan Olson and Kelly Beem reserve the right to refuse this trip to any person for any reason, if we think that it is in the best interest of those that are traveling with the group.
